“Better Late Than Never” – Australia ’89 revisited
1989 habe ich an einem Schüleraustausch mit Australien teilgenommen. Ich nahm dort natürlich auch am Schulunterricht teil. Im Englischkurs wurde “Free Writing” geübt, in dem die Lehrerin ein Sprichwort vorgab und jeder in 15 Minuten zu diesem Sprichwort schreiben sollte, was ihm dazu einfiel. Meine Aufsätze von damals tauchten vor kurzem wieder auf und ich will keinem meine schon damals hochphilosophischen Lebensansätze vorenthalten (inklusive aller Fehler)…

Better Late Than Never
“This is the proverb I like the most, because I am always come late coming arriving late. I don’t know why, but if it’s there are school lessons I don’t like, meetings with friends or coming to the bus stop… I am always too late.
Let’s see, I sure don’t care when I arrive too late in a school lesons, and I think no other student cares about it. The problem is, I’m so sorry, (again) afraid & the teachers, who mostly don’t like that. Why?
My friends don’t care when I’m coming late arriving late, they wait for me, when they know that I’m sure definitely coming.
A big problem is that I’m always coming late arriving late to the bus stop, because the bus doesn’t wait for me. That’s why I always ride with my bike, because I miss the bus.”

Geil auch, dass du angeblich jemals irgendwo zu spät warst und (!) es dir völlig egal war.
Unvorstellbar, eigentlich…
Dann besteht noch Hoffnung, dass sich meine Pünktlichkeit auch mal neu justiert…
